Nurses, Reception & Laboratories

We’re very proud of our team, who are warm and friendly as well as being committed to excellent dental care.

Our receptionists, Kim, Rachel, Liz and Jan and dental nurse Jackie help ensure the smooth running of Odiham Dental Care.

We’re all fully trained and our dental nurses and technicians are all registered with the General Dental Council.

Jackie

Jackie serves as our dental nurse and has been a pivotal part of our practice since its inception. Her collaboration with Nethmin spans over 15 years, even predating the establishment of our clinic. Renowned for her friendly demeanour, Jackie excels at comforting patients and creating a relaxed atmosphere. With more than 30 years of experience in dental nursing, she finds particular joy in witnessing the growth in confidence of anxious patients.

Rachel

Rachel has been an integral member of our team and a receptionist since the inception of our practice.

After taking a few years away to look after her Daughter Rachel has now returned one day week.

Her efficiency and organisation ensures the smooth running of all the reception and many administrative duties.

She will be welcomed back by many of our patients and of course the team at Odiham Dental Care.

Kim

Kim has been a vital member of our team for several years, assuming a more permanent position in the role initially held by Rachel. With her longstanding management of reception duties, she significantly enhances the patient experience.

Known for her amiable nature, Kim takes pleasure in greeting patients and ensuring they feel comfortable before their dental treatment appointments.

Previously a dental nurse for over 16 years, Kim now relishes her role as a receptionist, continuing to contribute significantly to our practice.

Dentist caring for patient in Odiham Hants

Nethmin has been practising in general dental care since 2001 and has resided in Odiham with his family from 2005. He has played a significant role in the local community, previously involved with InOdiham and coordinating road closures for local events. Nowadays, he devotes much of his summer to the Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club, both playing for a senior team and coaching the juniors for numerous years.

His attention to detail and extensive experience enable him to deliver high-quality dental treatments in a congenial and relaxed setting. Patients often praise his gentle and informative manner, which helps them feel calm and reassured.

Nethmin is dedicated to offering comprehensive services essential for excellent general dentistry. He has a keen interest in enhancing smiles through the simplest methods. Alongside general dental services, Nethmin has served as a Domiciliary Dental Officer, providing dental care to individuals in care homes, nursing homes, and private residences. He possesses expertise in treating patients with Dementia and younger individuals with special needs.

Staying at the forefront of dental advancements is vital, and Nethmin continuously exceeds the professional development standards set by the General Dental Council, the regulatory body for dentistry. He is also a member of the British Dental Association, The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), and the British Society of Gerodontology.

Anna Steel

Anna is a highly skilled dentist with an impressive background. After qualifying from Guy's Hospital in London, she has accumulated extensive experience in general practice, community dental practice, and special care dentistry. In 2021, Anna completed her postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute and passed with distinction.

Her approach to dentistry is both high-quality and compassionate, ensuring that each patient's dental requirements are met with guidance and support. Anna's accessible and empathetic manner has been frequently praised by her patients, as she prioritises treating each patient as a unique individual with specific needs.

With specialised training in children's dentistry and dentistry for individuals with special needs, Anna's diverse experience in general practice, community practice, and special care dentistry has fuelled her passion for preventative dentistry. Her primary focus is on preventing dental issues and aiding patients in maintaining a healthy mouth and smile.

Committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in her field, Anna dedicates herself to ongoing professional development. She is a member of The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD).

Raman Bhardwaj

Specialist in Periodontics

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Raman Bhardwaj to the team at Odiham Dental Care. Raman is a Specialist Periodontist with extensive experience in treating all aspects of gum health and dental implant care.

After qualifying from the University of Bristol, Raman went on to complete his specialist training in Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, gaining both a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) and Membership in Periodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).

Raman provides advanced care for patients with gum disease, gum recession, and those in need of bone regeneration or periodontal surgery. He also offers the placement and management of dental implants, including complex or corrective cases.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Raman takes time to ensure every patient feels comfortable and fully informed about their treatment options. His focus is always on helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that last.

Outside of practice, Raman enjoys teaching and mentoring younger dentists, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for evidence-based, gentle dentistry.

Sharanjit Gosal

Invisalign Go Provider

Dr Sharan Gosal graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2010 with Honors. Whilst studying she also received the undergraduate prize in restorative dentistry and the elective research project prize. Sharan then moved to Kent where she gained invaluable experience treating anxious patients and children as a community dentist and then later working in hospital in the oral surgery department seeing patients for extractions and oral surgical procedures. She has since worked in dental practice in West London before joining us at Odiham.

She is passionate about keeping up to date with advances in dentistry. Additional qualifications include the Royal College of Surgeons MJDF and a Certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with the renowned Chris Orr.

Treating patients gently and as pain free as possible with a personalised approach is important to Sharan. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and is our in-house Invisalign Go provider.

Outside of dentistry her other interests include yoga and mindfulness, keeping fit and spending time with friends and family.
